1997 CHEVROLET ASTRO VAN

1997 CHEVROLET ASTRO VAN CHOO CHOO CUSTOMS

WOW……. THIS 1997 CHO CHOO CUSTOMS CHEVROLET ASTRO VAN is just a awesome vehicle with only 69,793 miles showing and believed to be the correct mileage. I have saw these vans go 250k miles and still be running strong. So with just 69k miles on this van it is just getting broke in. It just made a road trip from Alabama to Tennessee with no issues at all and was a nice comfortable ride. This Astro van runs and drives out very good and looks good to be 27 years young. Finding these cruisers with this low of mileage is getting harder by the day.

Exterior:

The exterior of this van is straight and looks to have its original paint. The Paint is in overall good condition to be 27 years old. It does have some thin spots as you can see in pictures, but to be original paint it is still very presentable. The body metal itself, is in good solid condition with no major rust issues. The door handles are all there and in operational condition and all the doors open and close as they should. The window glass is all in good condition with no cracks or breaks. This van has the hatch rear upper door with the 2 barn doors, and all 3 doors function as they should. The passenger sliding door opens and slides very good and works as it should. Both the driver and passenger doors open and close nice and tight. Of course it also has the Cho Cho Custom body moldings and pinstriping, which makes this van stand tall sitting on top of the Choo Choo Custom Chrome wheels. Overall, The exterior of this van presents itself well, looks good and operates in a good manner.

Interior:

The interior of this awesome Astro Van is in very good condition to be the great age of 27 years. The interior is mostly all original. Everything is original inside the van with the exception of the stereo. Someone has installed a new stereo receiver into the dash and although it works they did a poor job of installing it. When they installed it they broke the trim on the dash as shown in the pictures. Other than the dash issue the rest of the interior is in good original condition. It still contains some of the window treatments that came with it originally. The interior will seat 7 people easily and the rear seat will fold down into a bed, for those times you just need a little nap on your road or camping trip. This Astro van has a lot of the Choo Choo Customs like the second row bucket seats, remote start and nice cold A/C. It also has the power door locks, pw, ps, and much much more. Overall the interior is in good comfortable condition and is ready to load the friends or family up for the next road trip to that vacation or away sporting event.

Drivetrain:

The drivetrain on the Astro Van is that awesome 4.3L durable power house gasoline engine with the 4 speed automatic transmission. It also has the power breaks, power steering, remote engine start, 15″ chrome wheels and tires (which have very good tread).

Overview:

This 1997 Choo Choo Custom Chevrolet Astro Van has been taken good care of over the past 27 years to not only look as good as it does, but to drive out as good as it does. It appears to be ready to enjoy for the next road trip and many more to come. This van would not only be a great vehicle to take road trips in or camp in over the weekends, but it would be a great daily driver with plenty of room for those last minute surprises. If you are looking for a good classic van that is ready for your next great adventure, then give me a call and come take a look at this good looking Astro Van !

1963 CHEVY II NOVA PROJECT

This1963 Chevy II Nova Post car is just as it appears, and as it is listed, a PROJECT CAR. The body is decent, but it is going to need floors. There is a passenger floor pan that will need to be installed. Both floor pans have been cut out. Some of the interior is there and some of it is not. The engine and trans are long gone. It is just a roller that Probably doesn’t roll anymore. LOL. I do have a clean South Carolina title. This would make a great car to turn into a street or strip race car. I purchased this car with several other car several years ago and I am ready to clean up and ship out. I prefer cash but I might do some trading.

1973 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE

1973 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE

This is a very nice and solid 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible. This car runs and drives out very good. It is a good driver car that you could get in and drive a classic car as your daily driver or for just fun weekend cruises. I have owned this car for the past 4 years, and prior to me purchasing the Mustang, the previous owner had purchased it in 1982 and owned it for 38 years. During the last 42 years it has spent its life in Tennessee. When I first purchased this car 4 years ago I drove it on a approx. 700 mile road trip with no issues what so ever. This car is by no means perfect or a restored automobile, it is more consistent with a well maintained car as a description.

ABOUT:

This Mustang is a real survivor car that has been maintained throughout most of its life. It has a very good appearance while sitting parked or cruising down the road. It is lots of fun to get in, and hit the power top button, and take of cruising down the road with the wind in your hair and freedom in your face. This car is classic enough to catch attention as you cruise down the road, but still in the year where it came with the amenities that make it comfortable and safe to drive.

INTERIOR:

The interior of this mustang is still its original interior to the best of my knowledge. The interior is in overall very good condition. The seats are all in good condition with No tears or ripping. The carpet is still in good condition and looks good, but does have some fading as one would expect. The door panels are in pretty good condition although both the drivers and passenger door panels have some cracking at the armrest area and has had some tape installed to control the cracking. It would look much better if the tape was removed and the area repaired. This can be seen in the pictures of the interior. The convertible top is in very good condition and appears to have been replaced sometime in the past. The convertible top goes up and down and works as it is suppose to. It does have a top cover for when the top is down, but I have never used it. The rubber between the back and front windows are worn and could use replacing if that would really matter to the new owner. It really hasn’t affected me as I do not drive it in the rain. I did notice that the fan blower did not come on as I was trying things when I was taking pictures, so this means that the heat and AC does not function. I had never tried either one of them since I have owned it, as I drove it with the top down 99% of the time that I have driven it. Overall, the interior is in good comfortable condition, but there is some work that could be done to make it better.

EXTERIOR:

The exterior of this 1973 Ford Mustang is in very good driver condition. It is not perfect or a show car, but it is a good looking car that you can be proud to go to cruise ins and drive to local car shows. It has had a repaint sometime in its 51 year lifespan. The paint is still in pretty good condition and looks good but it does have some imperfections. I tried to show them in the pictures, but they just will not show up clearly, mostly due to the size and appearance of the imperfections. You can blow the pictures up on the trunk and hood and see what I am referencing to imperfections. They are by no means major issues for a driver condition car, but I want to be clear and upfront for all the uninformed lookers. The underneath of this car is also in good condition. It is solid with only surface rust, as you can see in the attached video. The trunk is mostly solid, but I did notice a few pin holes on the drivers side. Nothing that would require replacing, but it does have some minor rust starting. Other then the minor pin holes the rest of the trunk appears to be good. As stated in the interior section, the exterior convertible top is in very good condition and goes up and down correctly. The car still maintains its factory wheels and caps. I had the white stripe painted on the car, just because I thought it would look better then just a plain brown car, and in my opinion, it does look much better. So overall on the exterior of this car it is a good driver and presents itself very good, but is not perfect.

DRIVETRAIN:

This 1973 Ford Mustang still maintains its original drivetrain to the best of my knowledge. The engine is a 302ci SBF with a 3 speed automatic transmission. It did also come with power disc brakes. This car starts right up and sounds good. It drives down the road very good. It is a fun car to drive and enjoy.

OVERVIEW:

This 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible is a great car to enjoy and go to local cruise ins and have fun with other local auto enthusiasts. It would be a great car for the person who is just deciding on a classic car to get started with or even that person who has loved classic autos all their life. This is not a car that would require a complete restoration, but still has a few imperfections that with a little TLC, you could make it part of the family.

1967 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE CONVERTIBLE

1967 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE MALIBU CONVERTIBLE

This is a one owner 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Convertible SBC w/4 speed manual transmission. So this Car was purchased originally in Florida by the lady that has owned it her entire life. She ordered it and had to wait 3 months for it to be built and delivered to her in 1967. It was ordered with a 283ci SBC with a 4 in the floor and rag-top as she put it. When she went to pick it up at the dealership it came with whitewall tires and she made them turn the whitewalls inside. After she was married to her husband in 1972, she was advised to go and have her name changed on the title, which she did and the car still has the title from 1972 where her name was changed to her married name. This car has has always been her car and in her possession until recently.

About this Chevelle:

This is probably one of the most solid cars that one could hope to find to do a restoration on. The car has been sitting in a climate controlled garage since it was moved to Tennessee in 1987. The car was originally purchased in Florida and stayed there until 1985 when it was transferred to Georgia for two years. Then on to the climate storage in Tn from 1987 until present. I was told that while the car was in Georgia that her husband had the motor rebuilt along with new exhaust as was the fad in the 80’s. The car has not been registered since its time in Florida, although they did drive the car from Georgia to Tn. This car sat in there garage from 1987 to present.

Interior:

The interior is basically complete, but in rough condition. The convertible top is also present and works good, but the rag top has saw its better days. Although the vinyl interior and top are worn out, the rest of the interior is all there and complete. The windows are all in good condition and roll up and down very good.

Exterior:

The body of this 1967 Chevelle is in my opinion super solid, although not perfect. The underside of this car is in great condition with no visible rust or rot. It has been undercoated at some time, weather from factory or dealer, I am not sure but extremely solid. The trunk pan is also very solid and in unbelievable condition. The only thing that I saw in the trunk is a very very small spot where the spare tire would be and it is smaller then a dime. The body is good and solid and the doors open and close like they were new. The engine hood does have rust on it and will need to be replaced. The front left drivers fender has a dent in it and can be easily seen in pictures. The only rust that the car has is what you see in the pictures on the bottom front passenger fender and the bottom rear passenger fender. The inner fenders are still in great condition as are the rocker panels.

Drivetrain:

This Chevelle still retains its original drivetrain of the 283ci SBC with the 4 speed transmission and drum brakes on all four corners. It also still has the original suspension. This car is very original with mostly just maintenance repairs. The wheels and tires that are on the car are just rollers so the car can be moved around the shop.

What I have done to the car:

The car is still just like I found it other than what dust blew of of it on the ride to my shop. I did adjust the brakes and installed the wheels and tires so that the car would roll. I removed the spark plugs and squirted some oil in the cylinders and let it set overnight before turning the engine over to make sure it was free. Other then that I have done nothing else with the car.

Overview:

This is a great One Owner 1967 Chevelle Convertible that would probably be ready to drive with a couple days of TLC. You just do not find many Classic Cars like this in this good of condition. I have went back and forth on weather I was just going to restore it or sell it and I just can not make my mind up. I have so many projects and so little time! So here it is up for sale the first time that it has ever been advertised for sale to the public. If you want an easy restoration with very minor body work and on a 1967 Chevelle Convertible to boot, then you need to take a close look at this car!!! It is not cheap, but worth ever penny!!!!

1976 CHEVROLET MALIBU

1976 CHEVROLET MALIBU CLASSIC

What we have here is a nicely kept 70’s era classic car. This 1976 Malibu still retains a lot of its originality. It still has its original drivetrain which runs and drives out very good. It still retains the original color and half vinyl top. It also still retains its original single exhaust and catalytic converter. Along with the originality it still has the original straight bench front seat and original dash and gauges (Radio missing). This is a very nice and inexpensive hot rod and the 70’s are coming on strong. You just do not see many of these Chevrolet Malibu’s that are still on the road and are in decent condition. With just a little TLC this could be a exceptional hot rod and the best thing about it is you can enjoy it as you make your personal adjustments to it.

EXTERIOR: The exterior of this Chevrolet Malibu looks very good. It has been painted and the paint job looks pretty good for and inexpensive paint job and for the value of this car, but it is not a show car paint job! The body also appears to be in rather good condition and appears to be good and mostly solid, although it does have some imperfections and areas that have been repaired and some small bubbling in places. I have taken pictures of the areas of imperfections, but they are small and do not show up very good. The vinyl top is in pretty good condition, but as is the rest of the car it is not perfect. The chrome on the car is in good condition and presents itself good, but there is some pitting in the pieces around tail lights and such. Overall the exterior of this car looks good and presents itself very good weather you are 5 feet away or 10 feet away, it is a nice entry level classic car and presents itself in that manner.

INTERIOR: The interior of this car is in very good condition. It has been redone in the past with vinyl and looks and sits very good. The door panels are the original and was dyed when the interior was redone and they have some peeling and could use to be redied. They are still in very good condition with no cracking or such, just needs touched up. The headliner is also in good condition. The windows roll up and down as they should. Everything appears to work as as it should with the exception of the A/C and the compressor has been removed. Over all the interior looks very good and presents itself very well.

DRIVETRAIN: This Malibu still has its original drivetrain that consists of the SBC 350ci engine and Automatic Transmission. This car starts up every time, even after it sits for a while. It runs and drives out very good. The engine sounds good and does not appear to smoke or have any negative noises. The transmission shifts as it should and the rear end appears to be good and has no negative noises coming form it.

SANOPSIS: This is a great inexpensive Classic Car. The 1970’s vehicles have really come into focus as of the past few years and you just do not see a lot of this era Malibu’s out and about. It is a good way to get into the hobby without breaking the bank. The car looks very good and runs out very good. Most classic cars paint jobs cost more then you can buy this car for. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact me at 931-265-6136.

1953 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE HT

1953 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE HT

This 1953 Plymouth Belvedere Hard Top is an Awesome time capsule. It has all the markings of a true collectable. It is not only a 1953 Plymouth 2 dr Hard Top with only 61,336 original miles, but it is also the Winner of its Class in the 1999 LaCarrera Cal-Nev Road Race. So it is not only a time capsule that has almost all of its original paint, all of its original Interior and all of its Original Drive Train, but it also holds a Road Racing Nostalgia with the 1st place class title in the 2nd La Carrera Navada Road Race. It still retains all of the markings and stickers from the La Carrera race, which is a very cool additive to the cars appearance.

This 1953 Plymouth Belvedere was purchased from a lady prior to the 1999 La Carrera Road Race and was an all original car. They took this car and to prepare it for the La Carrera Road Race they added these modifications : Pinned Hood, Seat Belts, Driving Lights, and Radial Tires. After this car was used in the La Carrera Road Race it was purchased by a collector and was displayed at museums until I purchased it in 2021. I has been a fun addition to my collection as a car that I enjoyed driving.

This Belvedere has the the 217 cu in 6 cyl L Head engine with the 3 speed manual transmission, Mopar Wire Wheels and Radio. This car runs and drives out great. I personally enjoy cruising in this car, as it is not only fun to drive, but gets lots of attention. The engine starts right up and sounds great. The transmission shifts through the gears effortlessly once you learn the combination. The windows all roll up and down nice and easy. All the lights and gauges work good. The paint is in very good condition for a 70+ year old original paint. It does have some patina as you would expect from a car of this age, but still presents it self very strong. The interior is in great condition to be 70+ year old car, it does have some fading and such, but looks great. The body looks very good and is very solid with no external rust showing. The underside of the car is good and solid, but it does have a couple of small places starting in the rear floor panels, nothing major but noticeable.

Over all, this is a great classic that has a lot to offer. Whether you just love classic cars, love racing, love originality, love history or just love getting in a low mileage well kept classic and cruising to car shows with friends and family, then this is a must see.

If you are interested in discussing this Great 1953 Plymouth Belvedere, I can be reached at 931-265-6136.
